Sliced apples, including some distributed to McDonald’s and Burger King restaurants, are being recalled due to possible listeria contamination. The slices have also been distributed to food and grocery stores nationwide.
The listeria was found on equipment used by Missa Bay, LLC, a subsidiary of Ready Pac Foods, Inc. No illnesses have been reported.
