NFL Balloon Glow

Two official NFL hot air balloons will be tethered in the Gateway Parking Lot from 4 p.m. – 10 p.m. Wednesday, February 2 (weather permitting). The balloons will represent the NFC Champions and the AFC Champions.

Bing National Tailgating Championship to Decide America’s Top Tailgaters!

The inaugural Bing National Tailgating Championship is America’s first authentic championship to find and recognize our very best tailgaters. The team that makes the best tailgating decision in four key categories: cooking, sports trivia, parking lot athletics and team spirit will be crowned the champion.

Beginning in November 2010, top tailgaters from all corners of the country showcased their skills in a series of six regional competitors. The winner of each region will compete for the ultimate Tailgating Crown in Sundance Square, downtown Fort Worth. The competition will take place on the Gateway Parking Lot (bordered by 4th Street, 5th Street, Houston Street and Throckmorton Street) on Thursday, February 3.

NFL Experience

When: Thursday, Jan. 27 through Sunday, Jan. 30 and Wednesday, February 2 through Sunday, February 6

Where: Dallas Convention Center (650 S. Griffin St., Dallas, TX)

This is the first weekend of the Super Bowl’s interactive park at the Dallas Convention Center. The young and young at heart have a chance to demonstrate their football skills, as well as attend clinics, autograph sessions and purchase merchandise of all 32 teams.

All adults and children must complete a waiver to participate in the interactive games, which can be found at superbowl.com

Cost: $25 for adults, $20 for 12 and younger.

No Super Bowl has ever gone into overtime. And no pizza company has ever called such a bold play: Papa John’s, the Official Pizza of the NFL and Super Bowl XLV, announced today that it is offering a FREE large pizza to everyone in America if Super Bowl XLV, to be played on Feb. 6 in North Texas, goes into overtime.

To be eligible for a FREE large, up to three-topping pizza if Super Bowl XLV goes into overtime, all consumers need to do is register for Papa John’s online customer loyalty program, Papa Points, at http://www.papajohns.com/ any time now until 11:59 pm ET Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011. Then if Super Bowl XLV goes into overtime, the free pizza will be awarded to all Papa Points enrollees Monday, Feb. 7 in the form of 25 Papa Points — the amount of points needed to redeem a large up to three-topping pizza.
