What do you do for your child’s teacher to show him/her you appreciate all he/she has done throughout the year?
At my son’s school, we celebrate over the course of a week. Many parents, like myself, send a small gift to the teacher each day. Others may choose to send only a few gifts on random days this week, and then some may only send one or two gifts to finish the week. Whatever you choose, you want the gift to be both memorable and affordable.
Our school has a theme for each day (school supplies on Monday, snacks on Tuesday….). Other schools may do without a theme.
Here are a few sites I have found to be very helpful:
Check out Skip to my Lou – cute sayings to attach to your gifts:
- “Thanks for a ‘picture’ perfect year” tag with movie coupons or nice picture frame
- “Thanks for making our school year bright” tag with a package of highlighters
- “Thanks for helping Blake grow” tag with flower seeds
- “You are o’fish’ally the best!” tag attached to Goldfish Crackers
