The Wiggles are on tour and may be coming to a city near you! Three of the original Wiggles will soon be retiring, so if you wan to see them, now is the time! The Celebration tour was in Texas last week, and it is definitely a hit!
My youngest son (2) grew up with The Wiggles. He knows every song, and can do every dance. (My husband can, too, but I’m not going there.) We have several Wiggles DVD’s and some VHS tapes, as well. My children were in for a treat!
My family was excited to sit on the seventh row at the concert. It was like we were on the stage, as Jeff, Murray, Greg and Anthony entertained us from start to finish. (And let us not forget Dorothy the Dinosaur, Captain Feathersword, Wags the Dog, Henry the Octopus and the Wiggles dancers!) Everyone was there, and exactly as they appear on tv. We were even treated with the presence of The Big Red Car!
Through the show, bones are collected for Wags and roses collected for Dorothy. We brought roses for Dorothy, which were collected by The Wiggles themselves. It was so great to see them out in the audience to get a little closer to the fans. Children (and adults) loved the interaction! *You can bring toys, bones, real roses, artifical roses…. The Wiggles go around the theater to collect. (Yes, even to the highest seat!) If you are attending a show, make sure you bring a sign (on a poster with big letters) with you! The Wiggles read them all!
It was nice to see the future Wiggles on stage with the original Wiggles. I can’t wait to see the new show, with the replacements. I have no doubt the show will be just as good as it has been for the last 20 years!
