I recently scheduled a movie night with the theme Unjunk your Halloween. Halloween is fun and exciting, and comes with lots of candy. Who doesn’t love candy? It’s time to make that candy a little better.
Food, wine and chocolate. The perfect night. The food was great. The wine was relaxing. The chocolate was Unreal.
Guests were fascinated to hear that Unreal candy company is proving that you can unjunk your candy. The candy is made without GMO’s, artificial preservatives, hydrogenated oils or fats, high fructose corn syrup and artificial colors. Instead, the company use real ingredients such as real cane sugar, milk and natural colors.
There are five varieties of Unreal candy. Unreal 54 (candy coated chocolates with peanuts), Unreal 41 (candy coated chocolates), Unreal 8 (chocolate caramel peanut nougat), Unreal 5 (chocolate caramel nougat) and Unreal 77 (peanut butter cups). When given a blind taste test, guests say they prefer the flavor of the Unreal candy over “well known brands”. Guests made comments like, “Mmm, this is good” and “I find it’s more chocolatey”. As I open a bag of Unreal 54‘s, I have to agree. (It’s my first bag, I promise.)
The story of Unreal is amazing, and if you haven’t tried the candy for yourself, you should. I have seen the candy at drug stores, but hear it will be moving into larger markets soon!
